Description

We recommend that you take the circular route, starting from Ferrano, with the return downhill. We can also start from Pouches, using the larger parking or bus service that connects Florence to Casentino (Bibbiena).

A Ferrano you have to park in the small area located just after the Church of St. Piero (access for concrete road that descends to the south). From the parking lot, it's back on the main road and after a few steps to the east, climb immediately to the concrete road that will lead us on the path 24, which rises rapidly the crest of the hill, until you reach the junction with the path 25B.
The path 25B practically flat, go near the Church of St. Mary and the hamlet that lies around (worth seeing).
We arrive at the crossroads of paths, where we will take immediately after a left. (North), 25C, which leads to the ridge, where we will take the path uphill to 25A East

Arrived at the new intersection, take the path 27 to the north, leading to Borselli.
We cross the village (available food and water) and go down to the bottom of the public gardens, until you enter the path 21, which descends to cross a small ditch, and then lead (towards South-West) 24, which will take us back to the path, with a good track, to the point of departure. The return to Ferrano at sunset, is very suggestive.
