Description

The circular route starts from the village of Raggioli, where we can stock up on water.
Go up the path 8A for 600 m, then take the path 61 in a westerly direction. It is the old road built by the Abbey of Vallombrosa to connect to the possessions of Magnale, where a church covers the remains of the castle which the Counts Guidi had donated to the Abbey.

The path 61 is inserted into the path 6 just before entering aMagnale. Follow falling below the church, take the short cut between the houses and crossed the dirt road that goes to Paterno, we take the path 62 that goes down between the houses of Pianuglioli. You will then arrive on the main road cross (with caution!) and, returned for a few meters to the south, take the road leading down to the Water Mill of Tosi.
Cross the stream Vicano Tosi near the Mill (note some potholes) and on the road become dirt, climb to the East.

It then crosses the road again to go up to Taborra, a village we cross with path 8. It then continues to plantations of conifers, alpine environment, to Cascioni, where we take the path 8A that will take us, downhill, towards Raggioli.
